Written by Jérôme CharriaudOctober 7, 2026

If you are looking for where to play football in Taipei, you have three kinds of places. The city runs four riverside parks with pitches anyone can book, and they are the cheapest option. There is also an artificial-turf field in Tianmu and a 5-a-side field at Wanhua Sports Center. And if you would rather not book anything, you can join a game that already has a pitch. This guide covers all of them, with prices, locations and how to book.

How to book a riverside football pitch in Taipei

  1. Create an account on the Taipei Department of Sports booking system. You can register with an email address as an individual, or with a tax ID number as an association.
  2. Filter by sport. Choose Soccer, 5v5, 7v7 or 11v11, then pick the park.
  3. Pick a slot. Slots are morning (8 am to 12 pm), afternoon (1 pm to 5 pm) and evening (6 pm to 10 pm).
  4. Apply at least 10 days before your game. The system will not take a request for the coming week.

If you have questions, the rental hotline is (02) 2570-2330, extensions 6588, 5479 or 6199. The booking system has an English version.

For some periods, such as July to December 2026, riverside slots are drawn by lottery after online registration, and the leftover slots open for direct booking. Check the latest announcement on the booking system.
